Subaru Debuts BRZ Prologue Concept at Frankfurt Motor Show

The modernized Subaru Impreza has a lot to offer drivers looking into purchasing a good sized sedan with ample horsepower. Subaru's announcement of a special concept debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show has created even more additional excitement for Subaru enthusiasts.

The BRZ Prologue is in skeletal form only as a concept, but the car is all power. The Japanese automaker has put a 2.0-liter direct-injection horizontally opposed four-cylinder, with the code-name 'FA' under the hood. The 'FA' will be 100% unique to the BRZ Prologue.

The Japanese automaker has yet to publicize any official specs and features, but the BRZ is said to offer a substantially larger output, a possible two-hundred horsepower. The concept will be matted with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic, operating on rear wheel drive.

Subaru president Yasuyuki Yoshinaga said the BRZ will "mark the introduction of a new pedestrian-detection system that will be able to apply the brakes to avoid a potential collision."1

We've heard through the grapevine that the car will be available at under $30,000 MSRP. Heritage Volkswagen and Subaru located in Owings Mills, Maryland is eager to welcome yet another amazing model to the Subaru family.
